You have FAILED in every “government service” you have shoved down our throats while overspending our tax dollars AND YOU WANT AMERICANS TO BELIEVE YOU CAN BE TRUSTED WITH A GOVERNMENT-RUN HEALTH CARE SYSTEM??
Well as I sit here watching the news channels waiting for some of my favorite shows to come on I figured I would type some in here as there is many interesting things going on today.
Fort Hood Shootings
We all need to pay more attention to the signs out there. I know for many of us it is hard. I myself lived in one of the largest Arab populated cities in the U.S. and because of my last name many thought I was Arabic. I am not saying all Muslims need to be put into one category, as terrorists. However the terrorist who is responsible for the Fort Hood shootings gave many warnings to the Army.
"The Army psychiatrist suspected of killing 13 people at Fort Hood reportedly warned senior Army physicians in 2007 that the military should allow Muslim soldiers to be released as conscientious objectors instead of fighting in wars to avoid "adverse events." (Source). A quote from the story is below.
"Under a slide titled "Comments," he wrote: "If Muslim groups can convince Muslims that they are fighting for God against injustices of the 'infidels'; ie: enemies of Islam, then Muslims can become a potent adversary ie: suicide bombing, etc." [sic]"
I keep all those families of the victims in my prayers and I hope that this administration will wake up finally and see that we have terror threats all around us, not just abroad. Moreover, going around the whole world and apologizing for the U.S. is obviously not cutting it.
White House Staffer Anita Dunn is Leaving
The White House just lost its chief media strategist and Fox News just lost its best P.R. tool. Anita Dunn, the outspoken and controversial communications aide to President Obama has announced today that she’ll be leaving her post; her deputy, Dan Pfeiffer is to replace her. (Source).
It seems the White House's top Fox news basher is leaving the White House. that is a shame because since she helped wage a war against Fox News, their already sky rocketing ratings have jumped 9 percent. I mean it must seem normal for a Presidential administration to attack a news outlet or for that matter conservative talk show hosts. The man who holds the highest position in the land has his administration attacking people and organizations who do not agree with him, his administration or his agenda. Hmm......obviously either he is worried or his arrogance and narcissism is starting to show.
Dunn herself was best known for comments like the one below:
"The reality of it is that Fox News often operates almost as either the research arm or the communications arm of the Republican Party," Dunn said last month. "And it is not ideological. . . what I think is fair to say about Fox, and the way we view it, is that it is more of a wing of the Republican Party."
In the video above click forward to about 55 second and play it forward to about 3 minutes (if you are so inclined) and you will see just a few of the attacks (including Anita Dunn's) against Fox News.
Below is a video of Wanda Sykes attacking Rush Limbaugh and the President Laughing along with her. You have to love how this White House picks its attacks. I mean I would think that the JOBLESS rate in the U.S. now above 10% would and the attacks on Fort Hood would be at the top of their agenda.
You do not have to agree with Rush Limbaugh to know that he is a Patriot and a true American who cares about this Country. Wishing kidney failure on someone who disagrees with you is absurd and is a showing tale of this Administration.
Robert Gibbs for the White House Lies Again
It should not be a far stretch at this point to paint this Administration as liars of the year but for those of you who do not believe me, I defer you to the rest of this paragraph. On November 3rd 2009 the Pentagon stated that Gitmo detainees would be receiving the H1N1 vaccine. Hmm...correct me if I am wrong, but do we not have Americans dying from the Swine Flu, which Obama himself declared a pandemic? Well according to Gibbs the vaccine "was not on the way." Gibbs went on to say "There is no vaccine in Guantanamo. There is no vaccine on the way to Guantanamo," Gibbs said. "I don't know what the Pentagon said. ... There wasn't any there and there wasn't any on the way." (Source).
Now as of today 300 doses arrive in Gitmo (wait wasn't Gitmo supposed to close according to Obama?). The Pentagon stated detainees still could receive vaccinations, after all the highest-priority troops and employees are treated. (Source). We should all know though that this will not be the case, pretty soon the Gitmo detainees will be getting the vaccine too but the MSM will sweep it under the rug and when Fox calls out the Administration it will be a war on Fox.
P.S. Do not ask Gibbs a question that might make the White House look bad, as you will be luck to get an answer!
Bill Clinton Former President Visits the Hill Today!
Yes you read that right! Our former President Bill Clinton visited the Senate today to urge Senators to vote YES on this great Obamacare bill. Democratic Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel came up with the idea of having the savvy two-term Democratic president address Senate Democrats, according to a Democratic Senate aide. (Source). This bill must be dead upon arrival. I mean if our own President can't spur enough support to get it through the Senate then it is not the previous President's job? The Democrats control the House, Senate and the White House and they still can't get it passed? You know why? Because that bill which barely passed the House is a big pile of Obama dung! Democrats and Moderates alike in the Senate know this and they know should they vote for Princess Pelosi's bill it will be their political downfall.
It is alot harder to get this passed in the Senate, and Lieberman has stated he will vote NO on a Government backed healthcare bill. A handful of swing-vote Democrats, as well as Independent Senator Joe Lieberman, have signaled strong opposition to a White House-championed approach that includes the creation of a government-backed health insurance plan to compete with private insurers.
Lieberman even points out that the Obama campaign never campaigned on a public option!
P.S. If this insurance is so good and GREAT FOR AMERICANS then why did the House EXCLUDE themselves from it?
Dodd Calls For New Legislation
WASHINGTON -- Senate Banking Committee Chairman Christopher Dodd on Tuesday called for sweeping new government powers to prevent another economic collapse, protect consumers and dismantle failing institutions.
Dodd's 1,100 page-draft would strip the Federal Reserve and other regulators of their powers to regulate banks and hand that job to a single agency. The bill also would take away the Fed's ability to monitor credit cards and mortgages and establish a new "Consumer Financial Protection Agency."(Source)
Among the top points of contention is Dodd's desire to create a new agency to protect consumers taking out home loans or using credit cards against predatory lending and surprise interest rate hikes.
That is just what we need another Government agency. Think about it, the government has done so good with Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, the Post Office and Amtrack why not create another bureaucracy to CONTROL the free market? Hey, come to think of it Country Wide, the mortgage company who was the main cause of the house crisis, didn't they give Dodd his mortgages on his houses and contributed to his campaign?

Nevertheless I am going to write a little in here tonight and after Church tomorrow I might have some more on my mind who knows. However I think the quote at the top says it all. Your savior and anointed one the almighty Obama has demanded that of the House today saying "Now is the time to finish the job." Wow is he ever right. Now is the time to finish the job dummycrats! Take away one sixth of the private sector, put thousands out of jobs, start chiseling away at our freedoms, ones which you feel you are entitled to control.
Now I would opine that not all Democrats should be referred to as "dummycrats", however the ones who are so far left they can't see anything but bigger government they in my opinion are dummycrats. I read all of the news sites on a daily basis, Fox News (which is fair and balanced) CNN (Communist News Network) and HLN. I refuse to watch MSNBC errrr MSN Obama BC because of Olderman err I mean Olbermann. Believe it or not, and I say this without equivocation, I used to be a Democrat. As I stated in a previous post I voted for Gore, Granholm and I was going to vote for Clinton this time. People with half a brain and any common sense could tell how Obama was going to govern and it was not from the middle like he said. Tell me everyone who voted for him is this "Change You Can Believe In?"
Many of us seen this from the start of his campaign. Then when the fiasco happened with the DNC and the delegates it was an eye opener, however no one would see his true colors. 1990 pages the Democrat bill is. Tell me who has the time to read that many pages of a bill, especially in the 72 hours it was online and available before it was to hit the House floor for a vote?
Obama himself attempted to throw his administration behind this bill today at the house. "With Democrats' command of the necessary votes looking tenuous in the final hours, Obama threw the weight of his administration behind the effort to round up support. He and top administration officials worked the phones to pressure wavering lawmakers." (Source). Seems the Obama administration throws its weight around ALOT, with brass knuckles and ball bats too, you know it is the Chicago style of politics. Call me a right wing nut, say what you want, but what I state here is fact and if any of you choose to see it or not is a personal choice just as this blog is.
This bill is not supposed to add to the deficit at all. Are they crazy in DC or do they think we are all smoking legalized marijuana now? 1.2 Trillion OVER 10 years, where is that going to come from? If you have not guessed I will tell you. It is going to come from TAXES, yes the word the Democrats like so much. It is going to come from TAXES, fines, more legislation and the like. No do you really think that is going to SPUR economic growth?

This new bill is about tax and kill everything, it is thievery. Now there are mandates. There is nothing in the constitution that mandates we buy ANYTHING. What if you were told you had to buy certain things? That is what happens here with this bill, because if you DO NOT BUY OBAMACARE / PELOSICARE errrr I mean HEALTH CARE YOU WILL BE FINED BY THE IRS. So I do not want Government healthcare, I am asserting my rights under the Constitution of the United States and guess what, that right was WIPED away by this Administration and the current session of Congress. That is right opportunities like this will ONLY come around ONCE in his lifetime because if this bill happens to pass and become law. He and his fellow Democrats will be packing their bags in 2010 or at the worst 2012. The funny part though is the majority of this bill DOES NOT COME ACTIVE UNTIL 2013. Why is that, seem kind of strange? The reason is because the Democrats KNOW that this is going to derail the economy and since they will not be able to blame Bush anymore they want to make sure that Obama has a fighting chance for the Presidency in 2012. If this bill was so important (like the must have stimulus) then it would be implemented WELL BEFORE 2013, but the Democrats know the repercussions of this!
Can any of you answer me a question? WHY IS THIS SO IMPORTANT at this point? Why now? I would believe with 3.3 Million Jobs LOST since Mr. Obama became President, that Jobs would be the MOST important thing on the agenda, but oh wait they already passed the stimulus bill which HELPED OHHH SO MUCH!
Americans DO NOT WANT Socialism, they do not want Obamacare or Socialized Medicine. It is clearly a take over and not anything good for us as Americans. Thousands rallied against this on Thursday (Source).
If this bill does pass tonight it really needs to be derailed in the Senate. America is sending D.C. a message and they did it last week in the New Jersey, Virginia and NY 23rd elections. I know the conservative lost the race but ONLY by 3 points. He has the DNC and the RNC up against him outspending him and he was a lone accountant nobody heard of 8 months ago and he was only beat by 3 points and that was AFTER the Republican dropped out and endorsed the Democrat.

Well this is my first post. I must tell you all that I am not the greatest speller nor am I great at punctuation. Please feel free to keep your comments to yourself in regards to any of the above. I started this blog, because and a fellow Michigander who is fed up.
To be quite frank the mess that Jennifer Grandholm has put this state in is just a disgrace. This state once was a thriving manufacturing industry. I know that Michigan as a whole can't rely just on manufacturing, however there are jobs few and far between here in MI.
The Wall Street Journal recently did an article and stated how not to run a state and used Michigan as an example. Jennifer Grandholm instituted one of the biggest tax increases in Michigan in history and look what good it did for the state. Not to mention, the U.S. bailed out Chrysler and GM, because they were to big to fail according to the anointed one. And how does GM repay us? They re-open a new plant in DELAWARE isn't that nice?
Before you left wing liberals start trashing me I was actually a Democrat. I voted for Jennifer in both elections and I was actually going to vote for Hillary until the DNC made a mockery of itself in that whole debacle. I knew though not to vote for Obama. I did my homework, I listened to more than the mainstream media and the things I said that were going to happen are starting to happen.
This President is the biggest joke next to Jimmy Carter. When Jimmy Carter was President I was very young. So I can't make many comments on his Presidency, however I can do research and I know many of the things that led to the terrible economy while he was President, Obama is doing now along with the Democrats in the House and Senate.
The White House and the no brained crack pot Gibbs attempt to cast blame and spin the media. Since the media is probably afraid that the Administration will take them over they report mainly distorted or not factual news on this joke of an Administration. I mean last year when Bush was in office there was a shortage of flu vaccines, and guess who was at fault? BUSH. But now there is not only a shortage of flu vaccines but also the H1N1 vaccines and guess what? Gibbs blamed it on the manufactures of the vaccine.
I do not know if any of you realize but this Administration is not being led by the President himself. He has surrounded himself with Marxists as well as Socialist people who obviously have the agenda of redistributing wealth. I am employed and have always made under 60,000 per year, and guess what? If I do not but into the new Obama and Pelosi care I will get fined. Yes you got it, does anyone listen? The CBO has stated this bill will cost over 1 TRILLION dollars, however according to Princess Pelosi this will not increase the deficit at all. There is no way around it, it has to be paid somehow, somewhere. If it is not coming from new taxes, then it is coming from borrowing, which will put my kids, my grand kids and their kids DEEP in debt. When will the government realize they have to stop spending? Not only does this bill cost a TRILLION dollars but the restrictions and penalties it puts on existing insurance companies will put them OUT OF BUSINESS. If they go out of business then what will all those people do who work for those companies? They will be on unemployment and of course the House and Senate will pass a law to extend the unemployment benefits. Instead of extending why doesn't the administration USE THE STIMULUS MONEY TO CREATE JOBS? Only 15% of the stimulus money has been allocated and spent thus far. What happened to all those "shovel ready jobs"? America DOES NOT WANT this Obama care, and the majority agree that it will INCREASE costs and REDUCE the quality of care (Source) but yet I digress.
America hopefully is starting to realize that this Administration is not one for a free country. They are more the likes of a Hitler regime, or should I say Saddam? The Presidents approval rating continues to fall and likely so as it should. We will not even go into the approval ratings of the House and Senate, yet they do what they want on the hill not even listening to us, Americans, the ones THEY WORK FOR.
No more blaming Bush for all the countries problems. 49% blame Bush for the economy BUT 45% blame Obama (Source). What many people do not realize is the majority of this happened due to the housing crisis which the Democrats UNDER BILL CLINTON pushed through. Sure give people a mortgage even if they can't afford it.
I am no political expert by far, but I do have common sense. This Country is headed in the wrong direction. According to different polls between 33% and 42% (Source 1) (Source 2) think the Country is going in the wrong direction. If Obama and his Administration are SO confident they are doing the right thing, and what American's want, maybe they should check the polls.
I think Americans are starting to wake up. The elections today, one of which Obama was acting like he was back on the campaign trail are a telling tale of what is in store for the high and might politicians up on the hill. Things are not given to us for free they always come with a PRICE, no matter what the Obama Administration or the Politicians want you to think. Below is a PRIME example of the lack of common sense among people.
